1. God removes people to bring you into your purpose.
Before you enter into the new season, some people will exit your life.
“Moses My servant is dead. Now therefore, arise, go over this Jordan, you and all this people, to the land which I am giving to them—the children of Israel.” Joshua 1v2
2. God removes provision to bring prosperity.
Manna was God’s temporary provision; milk and honey were God’s promise.
“Then the manna ceased on the day after they had eaten the produce of the land, and the children of Israel no longer had manna, but they ate the food of the land of Canaan that year.” Joshua 5v12
3. You can’t conquer if you are not consecrated.
And Joshua said to the people, “Sanctify yourselves, for tomorrow the LORD will do wonders among you.” Joshua 3v5
4. Build memorial stones to what God did, not monuments to what He didn’t do.
Then you shall answer them that the waters of the Jordan were cut off before the ark of the covenant of the LORD; when it crossed over the Jordan, the waters of the Jordan were cut off. And these stones shall be for a memorial to the children of Israel forever.” Joshua 4v7
5. You don’t get what you are promised, you get what you fight for.
“And they said to Joshua, “Truly the LORD has delivered all the land into our hands, for indeed all the inhabitants of the country are fainthearted because of us.” Joshua 2v24
“And the LORD said to Joshua: “See! I have given Jericho into your hand, its king, and the mighty men of valor.” Joshua 6v2
